Hi Wall has got it worked out!
One .375 is good, Two is even better!!!

I was talking to an old mate of mine (with a lot of hunting and guiding experience) recently.
He made the following statement to me, that is quite important and that is;

"If you truly need to go to a .300 magnum, you probably need to go to something, even bigger"!!!

I found that statement quite interesting. Meaning that you can probably shoot most animals with a lot less cartridge than the .300 Magnum and if you really do need a .300 Mag, you probably need an even bigger bore diameter.

I imagine we can take extreme range hunting out of this above statement, in which the .300 Magnum excels at?
