As Daryl say's there is no harm in slugging your bore.
When I tested them for Geoff, we knew my 500/465 was slightly under size but not by much so they made them standard bore size (for 500/465) for the test. My gun just marginally touch the shank but not by much.
Had no problems with the gun and they killed emphatically.
In fact, I think Steel Jacketed solids might but more stress on the bore than these.
