The scoped .375 will also come in handy if you need a scoped rifle to shoot a buffalo in a herd situation. On my last safari, the guide and I swapped rifles for a buffalo hunt. The buffalo bulls were weaving in and out of the herd and the scope made it easier to pick a shot without other animals being in danger. Did not shoot anything at this time though. Meanwhile the PH covered five elephant bulls with my .450, just in case they became aware we were 20 yards behind their arses most of the time. |
