I fly as well so I know all about houses encroaching on my fun places and the agitators who dwell in them and seem to have plenty of time on their hands!! Essendon is a perfect example of this.
I know that some of the SSAA ranges need a lot on money spent on them and I believe the Victorian government has approved a grant for a new complex near Melbourne but time will tell.
The reason mauserand9mm that 308's have muzzle breaks is basically because they look so good! I had a Sako TRG with a muzzle break and I reckon the break made me more accurate - I can spot my own shots and I feel it helped me to loose my flinching habit.
