I agree 110%. I had a Ruger in 375 H&H and it just felt about 15% too big in every dimension. Which is a shame since they do such a nice job (for the money) with the quarter rib, walnut, etc. After the Ruger I bought a Winchester Custom African Express in .416 Remington and it felt "right". Huge difference between the two.

After owning the Ruger, my pick between the two would be the CZ and I'd put the price difference towards upgrades from AHR:
