I have a reply from M Dorleac to the points raised by Eagle 27: Hi Mehul, Some info to reply at the accurate eyes of Eagle27. Of course, the rear sight set screw is now perfectly indexed; when that part of the rifle was photographed the client hasn't yet shot the big one; after the sights have been regulated to his eyes, the screw has been properly indexed. We don't take great care to perfectly time all the screws head to forget that easy one! Also, notice that the combination front sight is not as fragile as it could appear. We have a lot of working rifles bearing the same type of front sight, and to date we have not encountered a single trouble with them, even in dense Cameroon forest hunting elephants. About the .500 JEFFERY MAGNUM RIMLESS marking, I agree with him, but as our customer wanted the "Magnum" spelling…we made our best in hand engraving his dream on the barrel in the best way we could. Best regards. Joel Dorleac DORLEAC & DORLEAC www.dorleac-dorleac.com |
