My .375 has a 23 inch barrel and handles very well. Your 24 will be nice. Your project sounds like a really enjoyable one.

Have the g-smith spare nothing in the fitting and testing. The CZ's are robust actions and should make for a fine, serviceable rifle. Please post pix of the project along the path.
