Hauptjager.. All is a matter of different taste, being VERY American, "I" personely prefer more classic style stocks verses the Bavarian style. If you read my report about my first time out with this rifle, you will notice that this stock style did earn some respect from me on how well it worked and felt. But I still can't stand looking at it.. But then again that is just "my" opinion and maybe not others. It all makes good campfire with sundowners debate, who's right? who's wrong?..nobody.. Much in the sense that Ray Atkins suggest's that a 20" barrel is nothing more than a .35 Whelen.. I might have agreed to a certain point, untill my velocity results convinced me different. I got 2385fps with a 285gr Woodleigh.. Now between velocity, bullet weight, sectional density, ect.ect. I would argue that this 20" 9.3 is something more than a .35 Whelen.. But that would be cause to open more Jack Daniels and get more firewood for that discusion...450 |
