I like the Rigby mostly for the sake of nostalgia.

A couple questions though:
Why is it assumed that you need a magnum action for the Rigby? (Selby's was on a standard length action)
And, if it can all be done with a smaller case capacity, then, why is the .338 Lapua such a hit?
