The trigger change is fixing something that wasn't broken and takes the rifle one step back from perfection.

Does anybody have any particulars on the new trigger? I haven't seen one. Is it just another iteration of the Timney, Remington, etc.?

I find no fault in the last Safari Express rifles that came out of New Haven. I say that having owned three. They are of excellent quality and build. Why people say otherwise has been a true mystery to me.
