Re: Aimpoint Micro H-1

G'Day DGR 375,

Take a look at the "Trijicon RMR (Ruggedized Miniature Reflex) Sight" at www.trijicon.com then click on the "RMR" image at the bottom of the page.

They have a series of models, Battery Powered ,Battery-Free Fiber Optic/Tritium powered and an LED model.

These are Very Robust little red dot type sights, of which the military use some models!

They are available in Australia via their Agent- Granite Arms.

As to the Aimpoint Micro, to the best of my knowledge, the only short comings of previous Aimpoint Red-Dot sights, was Battery Life?
I do believe that the Micro has the same power system as on my Aimpoint Comp-C3, 4MOA (mounted on a .350 Rem Mag, my Sambar Deer rifle), which has a battery life of an unprecedented 50,000 hours!!! This should be adequate and make up for any previous short comings!!!
The Micro also has an integral Weaver mount built into it, so it will mount straight onto any (?) Weaver type scope base. The Australian Agent for Aimpoint is> www.xtek.net
