Yhought I would put up a pic of my 404 on the FN. Prefer the aperture sight and found it was presise enough to lay up 1/2 group at 55 yds.

My 7x57 also has an aperture but is the Rigby styled bolt mounted unit. I thought the bridge mount on the 404 might be better as it was a little less likely to give me a poke in the eye, which the non.recoiling 7x57 wont do. The 7x57 is on a 1908 and gives me a light and a heavy with similar handeling characteristics so going from one to the other is not a bother.

I would be happy with the aperture out to 200 plus. and carry a scope on QD rings that slips on the 7x57 for anything further. The 404 is strictly aperture.
