I have just recently bought a Brno 602 action which was chambered for the .375H&H and I am intending to have a .404 Jeffery built on it. I very much would have liked to build it on a standard length Mauser action being a bit of a traditionalist and all but the Brno action popped up first,and good gunsmiths in Western Australia are a bit thin on the ground I'm afraid. And the one good one has a two year waiting list. Does anybody know of a good gunsmith who can alter the feed ramps etc on this Brno action competantly in Western Australia or the rest of OZ. I only want someone who knows what he is doing and has done it before not some joker who is just willing to have a crack at it. While I am at it thanks Von Gruff for the info on your .404 you sent me a couple of months ago that was the deciding factor on what cartridge to choose, I was leaning heavily in that direction and that was the final straw, thanks.
