I have used it on my rifles and have found it to be the most effective copper removing agent I have ever used. I do not think it has to be used every time the rifle goes bang as it is expensive. It also seems to throw the bullets 8-12 inches off target at a hundred as opposed to an inch or two with any other cleaner. A buddy of mine came into a pre-war Winchester Model 70 in .220 Swift. He used JB's and Sweet's and thought the bore was clean. It started out as filthy as any bore I have ever seen. The Wipe Out, used with their accelerator cleaned the bore to like new condition. He bought some Wipe Out and accelerator promply. I clean the bore with the old bore brush before I use Wipe Out with the accelerator, and I clean with a brush and solvent after. Cleaning before speeds thing up, and means no second application. I clean after to reduce the bullet being a foot off course on the first shot. |
