Thankfully I was only dreaming so don't need the boiling water. I do have some original Kynoch factory ammo but is the later 2225fps (404J) stuff with non-corrosive berdan primers.
My precious tin of English made No 81 berdan primers for reloading the Kynoch cases are also non-mercuric, non-corrosive. Have plenty of experience though with the boiling water job on the old 303s.
