Yep you got me I want it for a hard wearing , light weight , back up carry gun !

I have a old Ruger M77 in 458Win , great rifle,very accrate and a little heavy ,blued & wood ,it has been hard to keep it looking good , we have Mauser 458Win light weight custum rifles for long walks & Jungle bashing , but I like my own , so it works how I like it to (which is shoots ever time & in the same place) I have used a 458Win to shoot ever thing any way from goats & pigs to the big stuff,even cats & crows ! the 458 can do it all !

That rifle is what I had in mind for years , it's a Hawkeye 375 1 of 100 made , on Guns International right now # 100073695 around US$900

Ok I will be on the look out for a Ruger S/S in from 7MM Mag to 338Win Mag then or I suppose a 375 Ruger , which I see has a cross bolt already , save some work/money on beefing up a standard one ?
