Exactly! Small or most likely BIG Part, one must shoot a bullet deisgned for the velocities generated. By all means, use enough gun, but use proper bullets. Watched a friend shoot a cow moose in the butt- right beside the bung hole - range 300+something yards on the Leica - moose collapsed and died, of course. The bullet, a 120gr. Barnes X was just under the hide at the front of her lower neck. 2 petals broke off- perfect performance, I'd say.- 6.5x68, initial velocity 3,350fps. Small bores work, with the right bullet. With my 6.5x68 M96Swede, all I ever shot was two Snowshoes Hares with one shot, but that's another story.
