Oscar, I have been using a 404 Jeffery only twice since getting it from my gunsmith. He converted my CZ550 Safari Magnum from 375H&H to the 404J. I have only had a chance so far to use it at the range, but while shooting off hand and seated have found it to have not much more recoil than the 375H&H, with loads at the mid point between starting loads and maximum recommended. Sight recovery after recoil is quite quick. Hope this helps. Terry.
