RobertD As I will be loading the Woodleigh 320s in the 9,3x62, I think I might be better off with the 1:12 pitch. I'm not as concerned with velocity as accuracy, but I like any rifle to live up to it's full potential. For N. America I think the Speer 270s are just fine. I use them in the 9,3x74r and I use...and like very much...the Woodleigh 286s in both softs and solids. Since the standard Norma factory specs are almost exactly the same between the x62 and x74r, I will be familiar with trajectory of the two calibers. I have no real need for the x62, with my Whalen and all, but have always wanted the fantastic 9,3x62 of legend. I think it will be the consumate woods rifle in NW Montana with the 23" barrel and a perfect bushveldt rifle. |
