Goes to show I was right all along. The 458 is a perfect varmint cartridge, sent the gopher flying didnt it. Seriously though , I have found I can shoot my 458 fairly well with minimal flinching and can reload and get back on target pretty quickly. As for the 460 Weatherby, follow up shots would take twice as long and I,m sure I flinch pretty badly in anticipation of the bloody big kick.
Some people can handle the real big ones pretty well , I sure cant.
