As you say, it is a 416 necked up to 458. I know of several shooters who like it. It does what the Lott does but with slightly pressure because of the difference in powder capacity. If your shoulder can stand it, you can drive it up to 2700 with a 500 gr bullet. I think the niche it will have will be to drive 600 gr bullets to a safe pressured 2400 without powder compression.
