9,3 x 64 (Brenneke)

Top grade custom gun built by Master gunsmiths SABI Werkswinkel (Magnum Arms). Mauser action, Lothar Walther barrel, top grade Turkish Wallnut stock in “Bushveld” format topped by a 1,5 – 6 x 42 Schmidt und Bender Scope with illuminated reticule on EAW swingoff mounts. Engraving theme: Lion – done by South Africa’s pre-eminent gun engraver Armin Winkler. 14” length of pull. The deal includes 360 odd rounds of RWS TUG ammo, 140 rounds of Sustech monolithic solids shooting at same point of aim as TUG’s at 100 metres, a few hundred once fired RWS cases, as well as 200 GS Custom 230gr HV bullets and 100 GS Custom 265gr FN Solids. Also gun sling and bore snakes. Rifle completely rust blued for protection against African hunting conditions.

This rifle has seen action in several African countries, responsible for three Cape buffalo, lion, leopard, hippo and a host of other species. This was my primary hunting rifle when hunting internationally for trophies, when I did not know what species to expect next, what conditions, distance etc. It is therefore my primary “all-rounder”, capable of taking buffalo or elephant in forced situations. It is important to note that this calibre is MARGINAL when taking on either of these species. It requires exceptional marksmanship, as there is no room for error. It has taken more than thirty different species internationally. The 9,3 x 64 (Brenneke) is balistically marginally better than the ..375.

Price: R 45 000,00 ONCO. Talk to me.

Deal includes 38 HH never fired cases. Woodleigh manufactures 401gr softs and solids for this calibre.

Price: R 9 000,00 ONCO. Talk to me.
