Re: 9,3 x 64 Brenneke

Well,it is still an open question here if the 9,3 x 64 is equal or even superior to the 375 H&H magnum.
According to me it can do everything the 375 does, but with the right bullets.
There are not many loads for this european cartridge but I think that vollmantel or TUG bullets( as factory loaded)are capable to kill everything on this planet if shot by an experienced hunter.
I agree with you:some modern bullets can increase the effectiveness of this cartridge.
The recent 9,3 x 66 Sako / 370 Sako has almost the same power of the Brenneke cartridge
I wouldn't use a 375 H&H-class cartridge to hunt buffalo or elephant under adverse conditions, anyway

PS:Is there any factory that loads the 11,2 x 72 schuler with hi-tech bullets?
This relatively small cartridge could be a good choice for the DG hunter that likes shooting european cartridges.

Thanks for your replies
