Totally agree--keep it what it is...the 375 H&H will do anything you need it to do and more...each to their own...but in the Africa circles I have visited with, most deplore weatherby cartridges...

I like them in the correct circumstances..and use a .257 Weatherby caliber on a titanium Remington action/Hart barrel, HS Precision stock..it is a tack driver and excellent for long range pronghorn or mule deer shots....but the velocity they produce are not needed in Africa nor in Alaska if used for Brown bear..IMHO....
