Fellas, seems like both Hornady and Ruger came out with the much ado round the .416 Ruger in of course a light package. I enjoy watching some of the gun rag authors and there programs on the Outdoor Channel and todays public introduction of the .416 Ruger. Not going to dethrone the .416 Rigby in any yrs. to come surely but........will become quite popular as the weight and 20"bbl. along with a 400 grn pill @ 2400fps should appeal to many who won't or can't buy or let alone afford a nice shooting rig.

I've handled but never shot the .375 Ruger and loved the balance and feel and how easily to me it points. Just did not at the time require a .375 when I have 2 .338 win mags and a 9,3x62 and 9.3x64 currently being built by Satterlee Arms on a 1909 Argie action. I may as well get my hooks into a .416 magnum or Ruger that is.

Figure some here would like to know the latest.
