Yes, the bullets of .458 caliber are interchangeable. However, in my opinion, a good premium bullet should be used for hunting large, heavy or dangerous game. The lighter weight bullets are fine for practice and recreational shooting, and for thin skinned game. They should be fine for deer, and probably elk sized game.
