I don't know why anyone would go to Africa or on any expensive hunt with a rifle that was not throughly tested..that doesn't even make since, but I see a lot of failures every year from every make and caliber...

Any factory rifle made today on an assembly line is likely to fail...One of the reasons I like a custom Mauser or even an old pre 64 Mod. 70, they just keep on ticking.
