I agree with you absolutely. It is a damn shame. Winchester was the standard that all other bolt guns were judged by. Why do you think that Ruger made such headway into the American market and has garnered the market share that is making Rem and Win turn green? The big boys were getting too big for their britches and felt that it was their way or go somewhere else. If success won't cloud the Ruger people's judgement, they'll come out on top. It's just a shame that bean counters are ensconced at the Ruger headquarters now.
