My CZ 550 FS in 6.5x55 mm Swedish Mauser weighs 7 lb, 4 oz, as claimed by the factory website. The 1-4x Leupold Vari-X II scope with CZ rings weights 14 oz, for a combined total of 8 lb, 2 oz. (My RCBS trigger scale only goes up to 8 lb, so I had to weight them separately.)

I checked the barrel channel by slipping in a crisp dollar bill, and running it from muzzle cap to the action. There are no tight spots. I have not pulled the gun from the stock, so I don’t know what the bedding looks like.

I’m going to shoot it before I work on it. Rod, maybe CZ is listening to you!
