That's good information, thank you for answering, I'll check into the Lott cartridge. I have another Enfield '17 rifle, also made by Remington, (The action) It is a 300 Win. magnum. As is, the gun is only worth about $350 U.S., but someday, it too may get changed to a larger bored rifle. Or I might sell it as-is.
