Hello Folks,

Today I picked up a 6.5x55 mm CZ 550 FS that I had ordered. It is beautiful, and I'm looking forward very much to shooting it. It came with a 50 m, three-shot test target that measures 1.186", so I'm hoping I'll do better (I'm confident I will).

I ordered the CZ rings, which I was told come in only one height. I have mounted a 1-4x Leupold Vari-X II, and the rings look way high. The scope looks funny, but it comes to the eye very well indeed, as do the iron sights. The iron sights make a fine sight picture also. I may try to locate a set of lower rings, as I can come down 1/4" and still clear the bolt handle.

When I get some cases (Monday) I'll check to see if the extractor will override the rim of a chambered cartridge. I plan to shoot the gun on Tuesday.
