Like an original Mauser 98, my 550FS must feed from the magazine. Just like the Mauser, if a round is dropped down the spout and the bolt closed, the extractor WILL NOT SNAP OVER IT.

Are all 550's this way or do some have the extractor modified straight from the factory?
