I know in the US punt guns are and have been illegal for some while.

I have not heard of one produced in recent years and I belive they are a thing of the past as commercial bulk wild bird hunting has no real place now days. If you could find one consider in the olden days they were considered very expensive a years salary for most. Punt guns from companies like H&H on todays market would have to run into the hundreds of thousands US not to mention the shot charges would have to be as much as a months salary for some people.
