I did Schamankungulo and your post was really helpful. How was the recoil of the 495 A-Square compared to the 470 Capstick? I'm thinking of an 11 lb Capstick vs a 12 lb 495 rifle without scope. The calculator comes out with 62 ft lbs for the Capstick shooting a 500g bullet at 2300 fps vs 72 ft lbs for the .495 shooting a 600g bullet at 2150 fps. My 375 H&H is putting out about 40 ft lbs with my 350g Woodleighs at 2350 fps and is very mild.
