Here is an update on the restoration project that I started a long time ago. Gibbs 375NE. Attached are photos of how I received the rifle and its current condition. Patina that only a 100 years or so can produce. I saw tremendous potential. With about 20 minutes

of draw filing and sanding it was good as new. The blank used is the third one down. The project is almost complete. Just need to put on the butt plate and grip cap, rear sight blade, final sand and blue. Its 95% complete. Another hour

or so of sanding/finishing and she will be ready to see action once again in Africa.
