I don't know that we really disagree. I was assuming he would keep the existing rifles and add one or the other of the 404 or 505. Your analysis is correct, although I'd keep the 375 and get rid of the Lott but replace it with the 505. The 375 should provide all the 'mid range' he needs and the 505 will deal with buf and elephant or anything else that walks. The 404 is still, IMHO, not that much 'more gun' than a 375 to warrant the change. Dave
