Winchester custom shop .416 Rigby

So, who owns/has seen one?

Do they seem to be worth $3,000+?

Any insights/thoughts/opinions are welcome.

Thanks in advance.

From what I've seen from the so called "custom shop", buy a Ruger, or save your $ for a "real" custom rifle.

Stu,

Here is a $4500US 375 at Hendershots from the Custom Shop.

http://www.hendershots.net/gunview.asp?GunID=229

I would suggest ringing the Winchester Custom shop because the website has several errors.

I did read sometime ago on 24HourCampFire that Winchester does guns well above what the website shows for custom guns.

The 416 Rigby in M70 as far as I am aware was 5 rifles and that what is it.

Mike

Mike - that's a beautiful rifle for sure and the rear sight is perfect. I assume the front sight is a round bead and the rifle is 'sighted' for factory ammo - especially for that price - seems a bit high for a US price. The hood would go missing very quickly if on my rifle.
