Broke another used Leupold 6x,I had mounted on my Ruger-1,converted to 450 3 1/4" nitro, looking for suggestions on another.
Would a shotgun scope work better?

Your best bet is a 2.5 Leupold compact, it has the adjustments in the center and is the only scope I have found that can be trusted...Many last several hundred rounds with the real kickers and most folks never shoot them enough to get all the bugs out, obviously you do...
