K, I've learnt (from experience

) that a rifle that fits and and is mounted properly, recoils into the shoulder and is much less painfull than one that doesn't fit and/or is not mounted properly. That often drives ones thumb into ones nose, and that hurts

The silver No.1 (read not blued yet) is my group 3 rifle in 500NE.

The No.1 I'm using beside Geoff McDonald is an almost stock 375H&H.

Interestingly when I took the 375 No.1 out for the "Special Snap" (8 shots in 35 seconds) I was told by one guy, (who is a top shot and a top bloke too by the way) "That can't be done with a single shot can it". "Watch and learn mate" I told him, "Watch and learn".

Not only did I manage get all the shots away with two or three seconds to spare, I actually managed to get second place for that event, with the "slow" single shot. All the shots were in the 9 and 10 ring bar one little bugger that I skillfully

dropped down into the 6 ring. No matter though, it was a great day.
