Eat flatdog...... have you seen what they eat! Hell I'd rather eat jackal .....actually when I think about it, I don't know a single PH that's worth his salt who does eat the damn things...... but of course, we see what's inside them. Eland is my favourite, and following close behind is Buffalo tongue and/or tail. Anything in between those two parts is tough as hell and best used for lion bait Rhino's OK is it's cooked correctly, but the most important thing with all game meat is it's preparation...... sadly most of the true wilderness areas don't have coldrooms so you end up eating the meat when it's very fresh and therefore a bit tough. But I guess the answer to the original question is that pretty much no protein ever goes to waste in Africa..... the only part of most animals I've never seen used is the shadow. |
