Some good points, I guess, though I thought the topic involved rifle carry not "DG Hunting". There's alot more carrying of guns all over the world in search of "eatin'" critters than "bitin'" critters.

I find any rifle with a balance point somewhere in the middle carries this way quite well although anything carried in the hands for long hours gets shifted around a bunch. Watch my son humping a pack of T-posts up the main ridge to fix fence the elk wrecked and that becomes obvious pretty quickly. As stated above, I carry some sort of shooting iron every day of the year almost, and they vary alot with the season and with simple preference and some are light and some heavy.

There is one gun that if lugged any length of time ONLY carries comfortably "African" style in my opinion. This little fellow is demonstrating it quite nicely:
