I have visited with several in the "Know" about the hunt you are referring too...and what I come away with Marc Watts is all about Marc Watts...arrogance is beyond approach....

As to the wounded/lost buffalo--from what I heard that is indeed the case. In addition the hunt was generally well received by both parties and yet after the hunt and it come time to edit..that several items were brought up by Watts..IMHO, Watts needs to market and sell his dvd's and therefore needs to cause some sort of publicity stunt..personally I think he is a bit of a blow-hole.
