Looking for a hunting partner to share some expenses on a self outfitted hunt
"Chasse libre" to the Rainforests of SE Cameroun.
My Primary goal is to harvest Forest elephant. I did not get one on my first attempt some years ago..
This is a tough tradional style hunt..Aside from getting to the hunting area by 4 X 4 (The major expence, the many "Cadaux" a close second!, hunting zone tax to local resource management committee)
This hunt is conducted on foot utilising Baka trackers and porters etc.
I'm planning to hunt from last week of Nov 08 till end of December 08
One must be in good physical condition, A handle on the french language is most useful but not manditory. one must prepared to shoot quick and miss often. skill using map and compass w/ GPS Is a
requirement.
This is not a guided hunt per se..We will eventually split up (2 crews) once we get into game rich area and Rendevous occasionally in the field.
