FWIW, I cama across an example of Mozambique being a monumental stuff up just yesterday. I'd driven to Jo'burg to collect some of my stuff from the guys who had driven back from Tanzania and I bumped into a guy I know who has had a hunting area near Tete for some years, and so I asked him how it was going........Apparently, he hadn't been able to hunt there at all this year because his local partners tried to turn him over in a variety of ways..... it's taken him all this year to get things back under his control and although he hopes to be hunting again in 2008, he doesn't seem very certain that he will be doing so. - Just another example of why the Coutadas are usually a better option up there...... at least, they're better organised. |
