If you doubt the hardness of the human skull just ask some of cops that you know and the stories that will come that will surprise you. I personally saw a dude get whacked across the face with long nightstick and saw it crack into two parts. Now I don't know who was more surprised, the cop or the perp. Maybe the stick was getting fatigued and was going to fail at one point anyway.
