About 10 years ago Guns&Ammo did a special issue about big bores, stopping power and dangerous game. They mentioned that there were a couple known and verified cases of elephants killed by a .22 rimfire rifle. Anyone know any specifics about these? Maybe a farmer trying to drive it away who just happened to hit the "right" spot? Extremely lucky poacher trying to get ivory without much noise? Just curious how this actually happened.
