hopdoc & NE450No2 - you guys are a riot

! The Bushnell that is now on the rifle is as far forward in the rings as it will go. I've never been wacked with a scope before. I handle my 375s easily, but stepping up to the 416 is IMO definitely taking it up to another level of power. The rifle has a decelerator pad on it, and I didn't mind it on the shoulder, at all. I'll try to remember both of your suggestions on my next trip to the range - after I get the new scope.
