Ripp, I know what ( and whom ) You are talking about. But I wish we hunters would keep together and not fight against each other. Same here in Germany, very few "we" but lots of "I want". Civilization is deterioration of a culture, as a friend of mine uses to say. And I feel I am born at least 80 years too late.
Yes I am still looking for a double in .500 N.E. 3", I really want it badly. But I got the money almost together and hopefully will get a good one this year.
Do You know the conflict of a determined hunter, either another safari or a new rifle ? I wanted to go to Guinea ( for buffalo hunting of course ), but the situation there seems to be chaotic, so I will most propably spend the money on a double and start saving for the next safari again.
I believe it`s easier to buy a rifle here than in the US, no hassle with export / import permits and the possibility to have a thorough look at the tool. But thank You for the nice offer !
