To my knowlege you can bowhunt on communal lands and private land but not on government concessions such as Chewore. I was not allowed to bowhunt there in 2005. Communal lands are tribal owned areas and government lands are traditional safari concession areas. There are not too many private owbed areas in Zim any more, at least private land that Americans can hunt on. Much of this land has been seized by the Zim government to redistribute to "war veterans". Properties that have been seized have been plundered of wildlife and plant life.
