Note that Vaughan has changed plainsgame concessions but I understand that he still uses a tented camp. His hunts are not canned.

If you are not comfortable placing a deposit with someone in Africa you can book with Vaughan through Wendell Reich in Dallas. I think most people who have hunted with Vaughan would be happy to give him a deposit, but for my first trip I did take some comfort in having my money in Dallas until I got home.
